At Tina Richards’ Tua Viso Workshop, in addition to mastering Tua Viso, you will benefit from Tina’s truly independent and unbiased advice and will start learning about what skin care products and treatments are right for your individual skin type.  This is an entire workshop in itself and so this section is kept brief , as an extra bonus, however it is an excellent introduction to skin care ingredients and is in itself invaluable:  Department stores, salons and cosmetic clinics can only offer you products from the ranges they choose to stock but products from those ranges may not contain the optimum ingredients for your individual skin and so do nothing, or worse cause a reaction!  Anecdotal recommendations from friends and family aren’t much good to you either where topical skincare is concerned; what works for a friend may not work at all for you or even be detrimental to your skin. 
At the workshop you'll be learning about hype-free non-invasive anti-ageing strategies that work and some eye-opening truths!

Here, Tina gives you a little insight into the kind of anti ageing gems which were discussed at her latest event:

“During the four intensive hours my group and I spent together at my last workshop I shared some top anti-ageing tips and dispelled a few myths, for instance…

  • Drinking 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day does not improve the quality your skin! This is a myth; clinical tests have shown that there is no improvement in the quality of skin by drinking this much water.  Of course you need to increase your fluid intake when you are exercising or on hot days, but generally you get so much water from food and drinks that you only need a few glasses of water per day to remain hydrated.  


  • Eating a tablespoon a day of concentrated tomato paste (eg on toast or a cracker), although not by any means replacing sunblock, boosts your skin’s natural protection against UV rays because tomato paste contains concentrated amounts of the antioxidant lycopene which when regularly consumed accumulates in the skin helping to protect it from UV induced free radicals!

  • Wearing high factor (at least SPF 15) broad spectrum sunblock every day, even in winter, can dramatically reduce future face, décolletage and back-of-hand wrinkling and discolouration as you age.  But it’s important that you use a sun block formulation suited to your skin type!”
